Charlotte-Louise Baker is a 22 year old professional, agency represented model based in London, England.
She began modelling at 18 years of age with her younger sister Deborah-Sarah Baker in Cornwall where professional work was very scarce.
After a couple of years she had built up her portfolio through working with some well respected photographers in Cornwall such as Jessica Augarde and Bjorn Thomassen as well as modelling in a catwalk show for United Colors of Benetton.
Even though both sisters have carved their own careers in fashion they still frequently work together.
In 2012 she won England’s Top model competition (often confused with Britain’s and Ireland’s Top model) and was awarded with a shoot with photographer Omar Shaker (Bigfoot Photography). A relationship which has since seen her shoot with Omar many times and with many more projects planned for the future.
In September 2012 she made the move to London to follow her career and also to study Criminology and Law at university. The move was a fruitful one and saw lots of work coming her way. It was during this time she met one of her favourite designers Leeanne Ripley-Garrett at the “Fashion Meet Music” show in East London where she was also introduced to Sarah Rumsey (MUA).
After the show Leeanne, Sarah and Charlotte continued to work together and now collaborations between the three of them are a regular occurrence.
It was at one of these subsequent shoots with Leeanne that Charlotte was asked what her plans were for London Fashion Week. Subsequently she was given contacts that enabled her to walk the catwalk for “Yes Fashion”, Superstar Magazine and Fashion TV. This also lead to a show in the Pakistan High Commission which was filmed by the BBC.
She has also walked for the respected designer Alice Vandy, who has designed for celebrities such as Little Mix, Jessie J, Katie Price and other big names.
Charlotte has now joined a commercial London model agency Mission Models. She was also published in Institute Magazine and recently shot for Amanda K Bridal for Wed magazine (highly published in Cornwall).
