Meet Drunk Wolf

With no formal art or design qualifications, all techniques in his work are self-taught, drawing influence from street art, pop culture and social trends and issues.

His work has featured in numerous exhibitions throughout 2015, such as ‘The Bigger Picture’, ‘The Beauty Of’ and ‘The Big Draw’ and his piece ‘Anna Kissed’ placed 3rd overall in the St Helens Open Art Competition in August.

He is a founding member of the We Art The Response collective which utilises the Free Art Friday platform to respond or raise awareness of news and issues through pieces of art left for the public to find.

Drunk Wolf says: ‘Whilst my digital work varies in styles and subject matter, my painted work usually features a structured monochrome subject set against a colourful, urban background. I like to challenge myself, so making more intricate stencils (which are hand drawn and cut), learning a new technique with Photoshop, anything that means I’m learning and developing my craft.’
