Introducing Jack the Lad

Introducing the pint-sized, baby-faced, cheeky lad, Jack the Lad.

This up-and-coming rapper from Rotherham certainly sets the margin for being unique.

Jack is no stranger to the well-known, having worked alongside some famous faces within the music industry. He has co-written songs with chart buster Joe Waggie (“Another Gal Bites The Dust”), signed a publishing deal with DaCO Publishing LTD. (ex-manager of Gina G), and sparked interest from Dizzee Rascal’s publishing label and Dappy’s tour management.

The first single to drop from Jack was entitled “Believe In Me,” which was seen to hit nearly 10,000 views within one year of its release.

Following his success on YouTube, Jack discovered a young boy in his hometown who had been diagnosed with a rare eye condition. Jack helped raise a few hundred pounds to go towards the boy’s wishlist, by teaming up with London-based Ziey and Hot Money Studios; amongst themselves, they released a song to help raise funds.

In June 2015, Jack released his first EP album Believe to all major music stores, including iTunes and Google Play, reaching over 300 sales.

Jack’s merchandise, “You Don’t Know Jack,” was released in mid-2015, with the snapbacks and t-shirts being the most favourable.

Jack is the first independent rapper to have headlined his own show at one of the most iconic venues in Sheffield in September 2015 at The Leadmill, where the Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse, George Ezra and James Bay have also played. The show was a success, drawing attention from Sheffield’s music press, The Exposed Magazine.

He may be small in size, but his dreams are big. All you’ve got to do is Believe.
