Urban Music Artist Kris Evans Releases Debut Single ‘N.U.M.B’

Kris Evans, an up and coming Urban music act from Manchester released his debut single ‘N.U.M.B’ on 26 May 2017.

‘N.U.M.B’ is a modern, distinctive and melodic mid-tempo rap track about honesty and self-examination that has clear classic influences.

Kris has been making music since the age of 11 and at 14 he was spotted by UK Battle Rapper Shotty Horror and co-signed to independent record label North City Entertainment.

Kris later joined the band The Mend who were finalists on Britain’s Got Talent. They also went on to have a Top 40 hit, support Little Mix on tour and play many live shows across the UK and America.

Now solo, Kris has been honing his individual sound in his studio in Manchester. His unreleased tracks ‘Who’s That Boy IV’ and ‘Nothing Changes’ were picked up by BBC Introducing and the latter was named as Record of the Week on DJ Charlie Sloth’s 1Xtra radio show. Kris has a loyal and growing social media following and his spoken word release ‘#HappyKristmas’ had over 30K views in only 24 hours.

Kris is focused on getting his music out to a wider audience and is currently playing gigs with his live band across the UK, receiving a great response.

Kris has just been confirmed for this year’s Sonder Music Festival at The Ruby Lounge, Northern Quarter, Manchester on 30 June 2017. He is also performing at an ‘The Undisclosed’ secret gig in central Manchester (venue announced shortly beforehand) on 28 July 2017 as well as at Rebellion, Whitworth Street, Manchester on 11 August 2017.
