Rising R&B singer-songwriter Samarra Samone is back with the swaying, sultry new single ‘No Fake Love’

Having built a career as a songwriter writing for Marques Houston, Chrissy and J Boog, Samarra has started to release her own material this year and is beginning to build a reputation for her soulful vocals and emotive songwriting.

A prime example of her work, ‘No Fake Love’ showcases the rich, warming R&B soundscapes prevalent across Samone’s material. Built around a bouncing guitar line, deep sub bass and kick heavy, swinging drums, the track leaves ample room for Samone’s vocals to shine, showcasing her silky tone, effortless control and stunning harmonies.

Speaking about the meaning behind the new single, Samarra explains:

“No fake love simply means to protect your peace, heart, mind, and spirit from all negative people and things. taking a stand for what i will and will not allow in my life”

Despite taking an approach of honing and shaping her own, unique and distinct sound, Samarra finds inspiration in the music of artists such as Lauryn Hill, Brandy, H.E.R, and Kierra Sheard to name a few.

When it comes to motivation, Samarra looks to her family and those who have supported her journey through life. Her overall goal as an artist is to inspire others to heal from past/present hurt, to grow and to become better both as a person and as an artist.

‘No Fake Love’ is available now via all major platforms.
