Introducing Ben Russell and The Charmers

Bringing the values of roots reggae that blend with harmony, catchy hooks and foot-stomping bass, all embedded in an uplifting original sound, Ben Russell and the Charmers incorporate a blended style of where European and Australasian reggae meet.

Hailing from Wollongong, Australia, front man Ben Russell and his band have built a reputation across the UK with their own brand of sun-drenched earthy reggae with pop sensibilities.

Formed in 2010, BRC have become one of South East England’s highest profile reggae acts, performing at hundreds of gigs and festivals throughout the UK which include: Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, One Love, Secret Garden Party, as well as sharing a stage with internationally renowned artists such as Katchafire (NZ), The Banyans (FR), The Dualers (UK), and By The Rivers (UK).

Since the release of their debut album, The Golden Sun, on Jungle Island Records in 2014, the band has gone from strength to strength and continue to hone their sound, crafting together foot-stomping grooves with soaring melodies, rootsy harmonies and an earthy summer vibe.
