Introducing Mosley Bar

Formed in August 2015, Mosley Bar is a four piece Indie band from the North West of England.

Upon forming they immediately started writing their own music and playing it live. Their first single ‘Record Sleeve’ was released and went straight to BBC Radio 6, which they thought was unreal. When asked about the experience they said;

‘We have been very fortunate to receive lots of airplay from BBC Radio Lancashire with Sean McGinty and Dave Monks over in Merseyside. We have been recording our music over in The Motor Museum with the brilliant James Mellor, and I imagine will continue to do so long into the future.’

Mosley Bar have played numerous great gigs, that include BBC introducing at The Ferret in Preston back in early 2016, and more recently at Manchester Club Academy, Arts Club in Liverpool and of course loads of great gigs at The Old Courts in Wigan.

When asked who they have worked with and what’s next for the band, they said the following;

‘We have played alongside and supported other great emerging acts such as Stillia The Jade Assembly and Satyr Play. As of the 15th May 2017 our sophomore EP “Royalties” which has received some great reviews is released and continues to get airplay.’

Mosley Bar continue to play gigs locally, and are even looking to play some festivals over the summer. But their main focus will be to invest some effort into refreshing their sound, improving their live shows and setlists to prove that there is more to them than meets the eye!
