Endowed with a natural ability for drawing: Meet visual artist Gabriela Farnell

Gabriela Farnell was born in 1967 in Lanús, Buenos Aires, city where she continues to develop her work and still reside today.

In her teens and without specific artistic training but with an advanced technical development sustained by practice, she began to frequent contests and art salons of the City of Buenos Aires, where systematically reject but allow direct contact with other artists and pointing out their mistakes and technical deficiencies.

Always under the system of trial and error, typical of self-taught, she continues to work on her technique and composition.

From 1992 her work began to be accepted in various calls, and from there slowly and gradually her work began to be exhibited both in Argentina, and then in various cities of other Latinoamerican countries (Uruguay, Brasil, México). Her work will also expected exhibit in Spain, Britain and USA.

Since 2012 Gabriela published online blog Espacio Farnelliano, a diary of artist where real-time review the know-how of each of her works, both compositionally and technically, with photographs of the progress of each.

As an artist without a gallery or representative and a limited financial budget Gabriela tries to use exhibition spaces to disseminate her work.
