Felicities announce representation of new brand ‘Dear Freedom’

Specialist boutique agency Felicities are thrilled to announce they now represent Lithuanian contemporary womenswear designer brand Dear Freedom as part of the new Introducing International Designers platform.

Established in 2015 by two close friends, business minded Rasa Barkauskiene and creativity driven Kristina Bausiene, Dear Freedom aims to create and produce natural, high quality and unique everyday essentials. Designed and made in Lithuania, from the highest quality natural fabrics, this emerging designer brand has built their label name on quality with no compromise on design. Truly contemporary, aspiring luxury.

The SS17 collection ‘STRIPES OF LIFE’ embodies all one can expect for a perfect summer, inspired by careless childhood vibes, embracing happy colours, mixed and matched with subtle femininity.

The collection which includes summer dresses, shorts, skirts, and tops, may seem like a classic French Riviera wardrobe with the blue, white and red colours that dominate the collection. But when you look closer, each piece has a unique ‘out of the box’ detail: a faux fur pocket on a mini summer dress, colourful buttons, pleated red and white-striped shorts.

According to the Dear Freedom designer Kristina Bausiene, their summer collection is a perfect symbiosis between feminine and childhood. The childlike cheekiness was inspired by the real-life memories of co-founders Kristina Bausiene and Rasa Barkauskiene, who on discovering the striped fabric that is used for several products, found it brought back memories from early childhood days in the Soviet Lithuania.

As part of the Introducing International Designers Felicities will have two key samples in the showroom for stylist and magazine loans and the agency will be introducing the brand’s collection to press and buyers.
