A reminder to stay on track: ‘Comfortable’ is the new single by Alternative R&B artist, Coco Latt’e

Taking influence from artists like Lauryn Hill and Slick Rick, Coco Latt’e presents her first solo single to be released on major streaming services, Comfortable.

Born Courtnee Marie Shipman, Coco Latt’e was given her nickname by her grandmother when she was younger and it has stuck with her ever since. The 25-year-old grew up in Rochester NY where she discovered her passion for music and would perform anywhere from school talent competitions to the church choir. The Alternative R&B sounds of Coco Latt’e stem from great female singers like Mariah Carey and Toni Braxton but has been shaped with a modern twist.

Comfortable’s inspiration lies in Coco’s general attitude toward life, for her it is a motivational song that reminds her to not lose focus from her aims and goals. As she strives to gain recognition and success through her music she knows that there will be obstacles in her way, and Comfortable is a reminder to stay on track.
