‘Braille’ is the first single from pop-rock outfit Gunning for Allie

Gunning for Allie is the music collaboration of actor Josh Mulheran and The Wisher and the Well front man James Waters. The two first started making music in high school, where they played several shows under the name Dakota Calling. Their track Runaway was a crowd favourite that really cemented their style in the pop-rock genre.

Braille is the first single from pop-rock outfit Gunning for Allie. Braille is a piano driven track that features heart felt lyrics and sounds like the songs you used to sing along to in your room as a teenager. Recorded with Declan White Productions, with lyrics by Joshua Thomas Mulheran and music by Josh and James.

After graduation, Josh pursued acting in Sydney putting Dakota Calling on an indefinite hiatus, giving the time for James to focus on his own musical pursuits as lead singer of post-rock outfit The Wisher and the Well.

While appearing in The Book of Mormon, Josh had time to further pursue his music interests and once again teamed up with his old school mate to again start writing music. Braille marks the first song from upcoming EP The Fight, it’s a song inspired by a close friend that was the strongest fighter Josh has ever known.

‘Braille’ will be in Digital Stores on the 15th of December.
