Honey Rougé was organically put together by our manager Rex. However the group was built around his previous artist Ellie Rose. The idea of the group came a year or so after Rex had been spotted and recognised off social media by Naloua. She literally stopped Rex in the middle of Stratford outside Westfields and sung for him on the spot. Once she had impressed Rex, she was then introduced to Ellie and they worked on a mashup together. The mashup ended up going viral on social media.

Ellie noticed the attention they were receiving and spoke to Rex about finding one more member. Ellie had brought Luena to Rex’s attention after a previous meeting at Boot Camp during X Factor 2016. Rex and Ellie were convinced Luena was the missing piece to the puzzle and they all met for the first time on the 7th December 2017. After Rex had documented and oversaw how the three girls got along and sounded together, Rex went on to make the group official on the 5th January 2018. How did you come up with the name ‘Honey Rougé’?

We came up with the name the first time we met.

Bearing in mind we filmed on the third day of us ever meeting, filming our first music video was so much fun. We filmed most of it at an in-house studio in Wilsden and some in a fun fair nearby. We also had our makeup done professionally by Aieyesha, which we all agree was one of the best parts of filming the video.

click Are you girls making any new music that we should be looking out for?

Yes of course – we are currently working with up-and-coming writers and producers to create our own sound. Despite being known on social media for our blend of vocals we are not going to be making obvious ballads every week. Our intention is to make fun upbeat music while showing our diversity with pop and R&B sounds. We would love our first single to be a club hit, then slowly show you a different side as we grow in the industry.

source Are there any girl groups that you girls are inspired by at all?

We are very much inspired by a group were compared to the most. Yes you’ve guessed it, Destiny Child. We are also very much striving to achieve the level of success, similar to our own UK girl group Little Mix, who like us, have all strong vocalist in the group and not just one lead singer.

i need to buy cytotec without a prescription in Fort Wayne Indiana Where do you hope to see yourself as a girl group in 5 years time?

In 5 years time we hope to have put out a successful debut album, be on a European tour and to have won a number of music awards whilst remaining independent. We want to stay independent so that in the future we can hopefully start our own Record Label, which will give our management team and us a platform to find new emerging talent which major record labels might not see. Any last words?

I just want to take this opportunity to say thanks to Niji Magazine for being the first magazine to feature us. The support and love we’ve received online has been amazing and hasn’t gone unnoticed. We really hope to join Little Mix in pushing the UK Music scene to the next level and hope we inspire and make all our supporters proud. Thanks you so much and we love each and every one of you who have liked, commented and shared our videos. Without our supporters we’d be nothing. #Teamhumble
