A grooved-out, sun-filled heater: ‘Lemonade’ is the latest release from vibrant, unorthodox Parisian duo SACRE

Crafting the kind of effortlessly cool, razor sharp electro that wouldn’t have sounded out of place on a Boyz Noise compilation back in the early 2000s, SACRE have rapidly picked up tastemaker support across the likes of EARMILK, BILLBOARD and HILLY DILLY for their debut EP ‘The Call’ as well as having their single ‘Gaia’ playlist by Pharrell on Beats 1.

Now the vibrant, unorthodox Parisian duo drop “Lemonade” – a grooved-out, sun-filled heater that will undoubtedly be on repeat at parties all summer long. With that perfect mix of Parisian flair, languid shimmer and gloss, SACRE balance charisma with a natural ear for melody and rhythm, producer M-Ro crafting something here of rare beauty.

Speaking on the track, the duo state;

“’Lemonade’ is our fresh boost. We made it for the first summer of Cookie Records, it talks about birth, or re-birth on an island; the story of man seeking a warm and generous place in life that we can call paradise. As we’re working on our first album, this moment with Lemonade was definitely refreshing! And we do drink a lot of lemon juice.”

Released on May 25th, ‘Lemonade’ is part of Cookie Records’ ‘Cripsy Groove’ – a 15-track compilation album scheduled for June 8th. With new material pencilled in for later this year, “Lemonade” only cements the gorgeous, sultry and carefree hype around an act that you’ll be undoubtedly hearing a lot more from this year.

‘Lemonade’ is available to purchase from Apple Music and stream via all major digital outlets.
