Notorious Yorkshire MC Lunar C has recently released his newest single Skwolla alongside an accompanying video that has gained attention from the likes of GRM Daily, BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Radio 1.

Hailing from Bradford, Lunar C started out making his name battle rapping to gain some attention, and with his ‘Best Of’ video on ‘Don’t Flop’, the leading rap battle YouTube channel, garnering over 1 million views, Lunar C presents an unbeatable level of witty bars and honest lyrics. Since then, he’s appeared on Charlie Sloth’s Fire in the Booth, gained festival slots at Reading and Leeds and toured in Australia with Australian hip-hop artist 360 and within the UK with American rapper Hopsin.

His debut album ‘Dirtbrain’ comes after the release of a number of mix tapes and EP’s over the years, and has already garnered the support of the likes of Charlie Sloth, Rag n Bone Man and Mic Righteous. Proving his lyrical dominance in the rap battle scene atop a raw industrial dub instrumental produced by Muchaniks, lead single Skwolla touches on hip-hop themes of authenticity and growing up in the ‘skwolla’ in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The official music video portrays the type of upbringing the MC had with a range of scenes from his hometown.

Already achieving 80k views on the official video and hip hop/rap homepage placement on iTunes since its release, Lunar C presents a flawless delivery amidst a bass heavy beat.
