S.P.L AKA, Samantha Paige Lucas hails from Perth, Western Australia. Coming from humble beginnings she started out in a Grunge Band – Winters Calling before moving to an acoustic trio – Summer Avenue. Post band days, she adopted her school nickname – S.P.L as her sassy, new persona and went Solo. S.P.L, musically influenced by the likes of En Vogue, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and Keri Hilson hit the ground running cementing herself as the First Lady of the Green Team, headed by her long time producer A.J Lyriq. With a mix of R&B soul and pop culture S.P.L demonstrates survival and moving on from heartbreaks with the release of her mixtape The Ex Files.

After 4 years working on production, the first month post release earned her twenty thousand streams on Spotify and a YouTube music video for Signs. With multiple songs at the ready, S.P.L works hard to remain on top of her budding success and stay ahead of the curve by consistently maintaining her musical talent coupled with her unique style that is inspired by Sirens, gypsies, witches, magic and a modern day, I dream of Genie (in a bottle)!
