Pokaz Trio – a unique project for the Ukrainian music industry, a new word in it’s contemporary instrumental music. Pokaz Trio is a pianist and composer Andrew Pokaz, drummer Yakov Taruntsov and bassist Eugene Myrmyr.

Founded in 2016 in Odessa, the band goes beyond any stylistic frames and has no content and sound analogues on the territory of Ukraine. Their music is always a story where the listener is co-author. Their performance is always a trip through dimensions and time. The band successfully combines jazz, classical and ethnic music with electronic complements.

Pokaz Trio performed on Koktebel Jazz Festival, Odessa International Jazz Fest, Klaipeda Jazz Festival, had successful tours to Spain, France and Lithuania, and in 2019 they will make their debut on the stage of the Leopolis Jazz Festival in Lviv.

Prize-winning classical pianist, laureate of international music awards Andrew Pokaz dives into experiments with contemporary jazz – it’s form, rhythm, melody to bring it new sense, while composing the album ‘Kintsugi’. As told by author, this album is a reflection of interaction between human and surrounding world.
