Building on the success of her recent single “Peanut Butter Hazel” and her statement-making debut “Never Loved”, rising songstress Bellah looks set to go again as she drops “Drip”, the latest cut from her upcoming EP “Last Train Home”, coming September 13th.
Scripting in Captain of the ‘Dont Blxme Us’ camp for production on her latest single, “Drip” is characterised by its quintessentially British sound. With its Trap and Garage undertones a fresh departure from the playful yet classic R&B nature of her previous efforts, Bellah gives a flawless, collaborative rap-sung performance, demonstrating a great amount of versatility and reaffirms her position as a key player in a thriving UK R&B scene.
Bellah is an artist in her own right who has made waves with her releases. “Never Loved” was made BBC 1Xtra’s Track of the Week and made the 1Xtra playlist, also getting its fair share of spins on Radio 1 by the likes of Ricky, Melvin and Charlie along with Huw Stevens. Performing at Ticketmaster HQ for Acoustic Live and notably BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Middlesbrough, she has made her mark in terms of live performances, making new fans in big names Annie Mac and Huw Stevens in the process.
Assured in her decision to focus on music at the age of 17, the London/Essex based singer has been making major strides in her career. Writing credits to date on projects for Conducta, Liv Dawson and Lauren Murray, she’s also collaborated with producer Courage on “Long Way Up” alongside Kadiata and on LA artist Louis Futon’s debut LP “Way Back When” which attracted major publications including the likes of Billboard.
