What inspired you to begin a career in music?
I always listened to music and found it was a good way to express my feelings.
Who are your biggest musical influences?
My biggest musical influences would have to be Wretch 32, Kano & Ghetts. In my eyes they are the most talented artists in the UK.
What differs you and your sound from other upcoming artists in the music industry?
I feel that I’m coming with a raw authentic sound that the UK hasn’t had from a female artist.
We are really feeling your latest release ‘Da Come Up’. What inspired the track and can you please describe the creative process?
I like to write my reality, so I’m expressing my come up and at the same time sending a positive message across that hopefully music is the way out!
What would be your dream collaboration with any rapper or producer?
Everyone experiences good days and bad days, as a musician, when you have a bad day, what motivates you to keep moving and look ahead to the future?
My family, friends & my supporters. I love you guys!
Throughout your musical career, have you experienced any ‘wow’ moments? Those moments that you stop to reflect and can’t believe you are where you are?
The day that my single dropped Kano reposted a little clip of ‘Da Come Up’! I was gassed! The GOATS are showing genuine love! Also when I look back on my first video, I think that the progression is crazy!
In your own opinion, what is the most meaningful song you wrote? What makes you say that one?
A freestyle I wrote for my friend who sadly passed away! R.I.P Rach!
What personal advice would you give to someone wanting to pursue this career?
Stay consistent, stay hungry and anything is possible!
What does the foreseeable future hold for you as an artist?
I’m not Mystic Meg haha! But on a serious note, there is definitely more to come from me music wise.
Anything else you would like to add?
Shout out to everyone who’s been rocking with me & shout my whole team. Da Come Up!
‘Da Come Up’ is available now via all major platforms.
