Introducing British-Egyptian rapper and DJ Dena Anuk$a and her debut EP ‘Honey And Cream’

Dena Anuk$a is a British-Egyptian rapper and DJ currently based in Belfast. She discovered her love for singing & songwriting at the age of 9 and started releasing her own tracks in the last few years under her management Nxgen Music Group.

Dena released her Debut EP ‘Honey And Cream’ on the 20th of January 2020. The EP is a mix of alternative neo soul rap songs similar to the underground sounds of IAMDDB, Felukah, Keyah Blu and Noname. The literal translation of ‘Honey And Cream’ comes from an arabic phrase she would use in her hometown Alexandria to say the ‘sweetest thing’ (3asal w eshta).

Dena Anuk$a is a fresh new talent with a modern and edgy portfolio of her own music compositions. She also has a decent following both online and in the local gigging circles. Her work & style continue to gain the attention and respect from local radio and TV programmes such as BBC radio ulster and BBC NI & RTE Radio. She performed live on BBC programmes such as Sounds New on BBC Arts Show, ATL and gave several interviews throughout 2019.
