British-Nigerian songstress Dyo releases video for ‘Real (2020)’ taken from her debut EP ‘Dyologue’

After making a strong introduction to the new decade with her ‘Dyologue’ EP, award-winning British-Nigerian songstress Dyo returns to share the video for her latest single ‘Real (2020)’.

“Real is about being honest with yourself and not living your life through other people’s lens” – Dyo

The video directed by Ash Riley, reflects that sentiment with Dyo stripping back to her true self in the visual. ‘Real (2020)’ is produced by Jay Weathers (Stormzy) and Jae5 (J Hus) and is another standout moment from her new record, which also features the tracks, ‘Papaya’ feat. Lord Afrixana, ‘Go All The Way’ feat. Mr Eazi and ‘Can’t Buy My Love’ amongst others.

Already well established as a multi-platinum selling songwriter, Dyo’s debut EP ‘Dyologue’ is the first chapter in the East Londoner’s career as a solo artist and chronicles her thoughts through song: “I wanted to put my best foot forward and make good music that people will hopefully enjoy and connect with,” she says of the infectious and feel good release.

Dayo “Dyo” Olatunji has been nominated for an Ivor Novello award and collaborated with a broad range of internationally renowned names including Maroon 5/SZA, Fifth Harmony and Jacob Banks, as well as penning chart-topping singles for homegrown icons Wiley and Chip.
