Fusing his love for the sounds of Amapiano, Brit-Pop and Afrobeats: ‘Focus’ is the debut album from afro-house artist ADO

Written during lockdown, ‘Focus’ is the debut album to come from afro-house artist and successful business owner ADO, also known as William Adoasi. The four track EP was executively produced by Gold certified younger brother ‘Eyes’ Adoasi & South African house producer Skhumba De DJ and features guest vocals from a variety of locally acclaimed artists. With soothing vocals and danceable grooves, ‘Focus’ mediates on themes such as escape, social inequality and relationship problems. The production talents of ‘Eyes’ Adoasi are evident from the first track and throughout the impressive EP, with ADO making a bold and vibrant foray into the afro house scene.

ADO describes his sound as ‘Alternative Afro-House’, fusing his love for the sounds of Amapiano, Brit-Pop and Afrobeats. Already known to the fashion industry with his designer watch brand Vitae London, he is channeling that creativity back into his first love, music. Having already caught the attention of RIchard Branson and Ava DuVernay, ADO has been played on BBC 1Xtra and BBC Radio London and is ready to progress with his brand new EP release.

‘Focus’ is available now via all major platforms.
