Inspired by J.D Salinger’s ‘Catcher in the Rye’: ‘Catch Her’ is the beautiful new single from emerging singer-songwriter Sophia B

Following on from the success of her debut single ‘Boys Are So Overrated’, Sophia B displays huge versatility with her new single. With vocals that float light like a feather across the dainty instrumental, Sophia B welcomes us into the world of the novel as she explores the narrative of the characters in song form through the lens of her own life. Sophia B finds peace and resolution in ‘Catch Her’ as she has found a space to grow and blossom in LaGuardia.

Living in the Upper East Side of New York, Sophia B already has an impressive track record singing on stage. She attends the Vocal Studio of New York City’s top Performance Arts High School, known as the “Fame” school where legends such as Liza Minelli, Robert De Niro and other accomplished entertainment artists such as Nikki Minage, Awkwafina and Tim Chalamet are part of the alumni. With much of her experience stemming from the stage, Sophia B has had leading vocal roles with Broadway Bound kid productions and Manhattan Youth Production and has played young Fiona in a junior run of Shrek: The Musical on Broadway. Now turning her focus to her own music, Sophia B has been working with Australian Producer Claire Protas of Produce That Song, who reached out to her after hearing a demo of her new single ‘Catch Her’ which will be available on all major platforms from Valentines Day with a lyric video dropping on release day too!

‘Catch Her’ is available now via all major platforms.
