Horizon Promotions & Irie Heights are proud to announce a monumental celebration of Black History Month with an unforgettable celebration of Black culture, history and music, bringing together generations of artists under one roof at Electric Brixton on 24th October 2025. This powerful showcase brings together some of the most legendary voices in reggae history, alongside fresh talent, in what promises to be a historic night.
Headlining the evening is the one and only reggae legend Eek-A-Mouse, a true icon whose eccentric, high-energy performances and unique sing-jaying style revolutionised the dancehall scene. Known for his wit, humour and infectious stage presence, Eek-A-Mouse remains one of the most original and influential voices in Jamaican music.
Joining him is trailblazer Sister Nancy, the world’s first female dancehall DJ, celebrated for her groundbreaking performances and timeless anthem ‘Bam Bam’. Her pioneering role opened doors for generations of women in reggae and dancehall, making her a true cultural icon.
Also gracing the stage is Grammy-nominated queen of reggae, Dawn Penn. With a career spanning decades, her international hit ‘You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No)’ remains one of the most covered and recognized reggae songs of all time, cementing her status as a legend of the genre.
The stellar live line-up continues with performances from Tippa Irie, Little Roy, Earl 16, Askala Selassie, Teshay Makeda and G Vibes. The night also pays homage to the sound system culture that carried reggae music across the globe, with sets from Jah Youth, Greensleeves Hi-Fi featuring Oxman and Adam Prescott, Moa Anbessa Sound, CJ Don and Dubplate Grafix. Guiding the celebration is the inimitable MC Brother Culture, ensuring vibes are high and the energy unstoppable from start to finish.
