Paris-born artist and creative Eugénie offers a heartfelt and authentic exploration of modern love in her All Access EP, released alongside a stunning cinematic short film via Filature Recordings.
Filled with intimate reflections on love, lust, and vulnerability, All Access emerges as some of Eugénie’s most personal and dynamic work to date. The six-track collection weaves dystopian soundscapes of alt-pop, rock, and drum and bass, providing a rich backdrop for her raw, evocative lyricism. Her hedonistic vocals create a deep, multi-layered sound that exudes both atmosphere and intent, as she champions self-love as a pathway to growth. Through a shadowed yet confident delivery, Eugénie solidifies her position as one of the most exciting and powerful voices to emerge in the global music scene.
The accompanying short film, which bridges the tracks on the EP, follows a journey through Paris. With its dark, hazy atmosphere, the film uses sharp cuts and intimate cinematography to personify Eugénie’s chaotic yet self-aware reflections on love and lust. Moving from the quiet of her bedroom to the main stage, her shadowed confidence blends vulnerability and hopefulness, turning her personal experiences into something beautifully inspired.
Speaking about the EP, Eugénie shares:
“All Access’ is my love language. I often choose to give complete access to the unfolding spectacle of my life as a way to connect with others. In this offering, I both lose and discover myself, always with fervour and unbridled intensity.”
The EP revolves around the metaphor of an ‘AAA pass,’ symbolising the complexities of opening oneself up to deeper connections. This concept is immediately felt in the opening track, “Moment In Time,” which blends emotive guitars with Eugénie’s soft, tender voice, setting the tone with force and finesse.
“Back Skin” follows, layering infectious harmonies with distorted synths and heavy drum breaks. The track sees Eugénie wrestle with the addictive nature of love and lust, as she pleads, “Why do I still fall, you don’t even love me // This is my last call,” reflecting on toxic ultimatums and the endless search for true love.
Pushing the boundaries of contemporary pop, the lead single, “All Or Nothing,” delivers glitchy two-step percussion, pounding basslines, and warped vocals, adding an electronic edge reminiscent of Charli XCX or A.G. Cook. Throughout, Eugénie commands the woozy instrumental with her signature elegance, blending vulnerability with hope as she explores the peaks of her emotional and musical landscape. Tracks like “Intro,” “Mess It Up Mad,” and “Stop” continue the sonic journey, closing the EP with a blend of smooth French lyrics and drum and bass textures, as Eugénie navigates a grand, doomed romance and the inevitable challenges of keeping love alive.
Eugénie’s growing influence is evident in her live performances, which transform personal narratives into universally resonant moments. She will bring All Access to life with shows across France, including a special performance at The Social in London on 12th November.
After releasing her debut single Puis Danse in 2016 (with over 4 million streams), Eugénie took a step back from the limelight, swapping official releases for English covers of French classics, amassing more than 4 million views. Her return came with Maryland (which has over 15 million streams), an electro-pop collaboration with production duo Elephanz, solidifying her presence as a unique voice in music and fashion.
Her raw-chic aesthetic caught the attention of Chanel, propelling her into the fashion spotlight. The release of her 2022 EP Moment In Time further showcased her introspective lyricism, blending UKG and DnB influences while drawing praise from Antidote Magazine, Clash, and BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders. With her bold aesthetic gracing editorials in Noctis, Mixte, F-Word, and Boycott, Eugénie continues to evolve as an artist, fusing her music with high fashion.
With All Access EP, Eugénie reveals herself as a truly gifted musician and vocalist, now fully stepping into her own. This project marks a milestone in her journey as one of Paris’ brightest rising stars, poised for international recognition.
All Access EP is available now via all major platforms.
