Closing out an extraordinary year, rising artist Charlie Jeer presents his debut EP titled Everything Is Temporary. With more than ninety million streams and a rapidly growing global audience, the classically trained saxophonist has established himself as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary electronic and soul influenced music.
Only twelve months have passed since his debut release, and in that time Charlie has captivated listeners with his other worldly sound, emotional clarity, and magnetic creative vision. What began as an introduction to a fresh presence in electronic music has evolved into a moment of genuine momentum. From joining RUZE for a performance at MixMag Lab London to drawing recognition from leading names including Calvin Harris and Black Coffee, his sonic world has become impossible to overlook. Industry tastemakers such as Jamie Jones, Songer and Bloody Civilian have praised his work, while respected platforms including COLORS, Man About Town, GQ South Africa, KISS Dance, and Spotify UK have continued to champion his rise.
A multi talented artist, singer and classically trained instrumentalist, Charlie approaches each song with precision and intention. Years of study devoted to classical technique taught him discipline, while his deep connection to the saxophone shaped his understanding of how emotion can be translated into sound. Everything Is Temporary reflects this journey. It brings together personal memories, moments of growth, and experiences that offer listeners a more intimate understanding of the artist he has become during the past eighteen months. The eight track project features fan favourite Sun Is Gone and the earlier singles Nobody and Her Eyes. Across the EP he reflects on romantic relationships, friendships and the unpredictable nature of life.
The project begins with the gentle instrumentation of Mona Lisa before moving into the bright, uplifting energy of I Found Love, a reminder of summer warmth as the colder months arrive. Tracks such as Babylon and Lucid Dreams showcase his versatility, pairing his smooth vocals with the distinct presence of his saxophone to create immersive soundscapes that shift with each listen. The EP marks a decisive milestone and reaffirms his artistic identity with confidence.
Speaking on the project, Charlie explains that Everything Is Temporary represents a collection of his memories shaped into music. Since receiving a positive response to his debut single Her Eyes, he has found a sense of clarity and release in writing from personal experiences. He reflects on a year spent navigating relationships, friendships and significant life changes, and the EP captures these moments with honesty.
Charlie also acknowledges the influence of instrumental music on his process. He describes finding freedom in allowing listeners to interpret sound without the guidance of words, while using intentional lyrics to reveal exactly what he expresses through his saxophone. Working closely with his friend and producer Ben Stancombe, he has refined a sonic palette that feels authentic and true to his artistic identity.
Born in Kent, Charlie began studying classical music at a young age and completed his Grade Eight saxophone exam before sitting his GCSEs. His approach to playing expanded when he met local saxophonist Tony Rico, who encouraged him to feel music rather than simply perform it, leading him towards a more intuitive and expressive style.

Charlie’s route into music has been far from predictable. Alongside studying economics, he built an online following of more than three hundred and fifty thousand on TikTok, which allowed him to explore creative opportunities beyond traditional academic pathways. Before his breakthrough he trained as a boxer, worked as a security guard at a McDonalds branch, and even modelled. Each chapter contributed to the person and artist he is today.
Now earning recognition from respected outlets including Out Now Magazine, House of Solo, GQ South Africa and Spotify, with playlisting support from New Music Friday UK, Just Dropped, Lowkey, Cocoa Butter and Amazon Music’s plus forty four R and B, Charlie Jeer stands firmly among the most exciting new talents in the United Kingdom.
Everything Is Temporary marks a defining moment in his career and confirms why Charlie Jeer has risen so quickly. With his striking blend of saxophone led melodies, soulful vocal delivery and thoughtful storytelling, he continues to reshape the boundaries of modern electronic and soul influenced music.
