Izza Gara links up with Miso Extra on futuristic new single ‘3000’

Swedish Grammy-nominated artist Izza Gara returns with her spellbinding new single 3000, featuring UK powerhouse Miso Extra. The track arrives ahead of her forthcoming EP Superbia Hardcore and follows the success of her August release Favour, which earned praise from Ones To Watch, COLORS, Stanisland Magazine, FAME Magazine and more.

Channelling her signature sound — a fusion of Electro, Pop and R&B — 3000 is both futuristic and nostalgic, weaving moody self-produced beats with silky vocals and sharp lyricism. Miso Extra’s unique artistry slots seamlessly into the track, creating a transnational collaboration that links Sweden and the UK while pushing sonic boundaries.

Speaking about the creative process, Izza shares:

“Making 3000 felt like spreading butter on warm bread, everything just went so smooth and felt so familiar even though it’s my first proper hip hop song. I treated it like a playground and made it as a fun track I didn’t think I’d ever release. But it turned into a banger, and bringing Miso Extra on board was the final piece of the puzzle, so here we are.”

Born in Gothenburg with Turkish-Swedish roots and now based in Stockholm, Izza Gara has emerged as one of the most exciting voices in the alternative electronic and dance space. Her 2023 EP YOUNG marked a creative evolution, leading to international collaborations with Jerry Folk, Figtape and Berlin-based Moritz. In 2025, she earned a Swedish Grammy nomination and a Norwegian Spellemann Award for her growing impact across the Nordic scene.

With performances at BY:LARM, CYME Festival and Jungfrukällarn, and support from Swedish National Radio P3, plus playlisting on Spotify Fresh Finds, NMF Sweden, On Repeat and Apple Music’s New Music Daily, RnB Now, Sounds of Sweden, Izza continues to establish herself as a true trailblazer.

3000 is out now, offering a bold glimpse into what’s to come on her upcoming EP Superbia Hardcore.
