Singer-songwriter Grete is back with a striking new single, “Different,” showcasing her fearless artistic evolution and cementing her place as one of pop’s most exciting emerging talents. Following the release of her debut EP, ‘Grey,’ last year, Grete has made a seamless transition from the jazz-infused emotional depth of her earlier work to a sleek, futuristic pop sound that pushes creative boundaries.

“Different” is the latest offering from Grete’s new collection of pristine pop songs, arriving hot on the heels of last December’s critically acclaimed single, “SKINNY BONES.” Described by Beats Per Minute’s Larry McClain as “the most amazing career pivot since Dylan went from folk to rock,” “SKINNY BONES” set the stage for Grete’s bold reinvention. Born and raised in Lithuania, Grete began singing at just three years old and quickly rose to prominence in her home country. From nationally broadcasted competitions to top-tier musical theatre productions and international contests, she became a household name, even reaching the finals of ‘The Voice’ Lithuania in 2018. However, Grete’s ambitions stretched beyond local fame. She relocated to the UK, graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) with a degree in pop music vocals in 2024.

Inspired by artists like Tove Lo, The Weeknd, and MARO, Grete has crafted a sound that is both vocally dazzling and harmonically rich, blending old-school R&B influences with modern pop sensibilities. Her debut EP, ‘Grey,’ released in the summer of 2024, was an emotional outpouring that captivated listeners.
