Berlin based alt pop artist panicbaby continues her rapid rise with the release of her new single and visual “soft prn”, out now. The track is the final single taken from her upcoming debut EP f u jonathan, set for release on February 13 alongside an exclusive vinyl launch.
Already sitting on over 25 million streams across four singles released throughout 2025, panicbaby has quickly established herself as one of the most compelling new voices breaking into UK and European consciousness. Fragile yet fearless, her sound blends nostalgic emotion with hypnotic, forward facing production, drawing inspiration from cinematic melancholy, understated vulnerability, and late night introspection.
“soft prn” explores the emotional contradictions of a relationship defined by both beauty and damage. The track captures the confusion of being pulled between pain and desire, heartbreak and attachment, as panicbaby searches for clarity within emotional chaos. Glossy, restrained synths sit beneath intimate vocals, allowing longing, anger, and self doubt to surface naturally.
Speaking on the single, panicbaby explains,
“‘soft prn’ is about a relationship that’s both horrible and beautiful at the same time and the struggle of accepting that duality.”

The song reinforces her strength as a storyteller, pairing vulnerability with a universal emotional pull that continues to define her growing catalogue.
With early and significant support from platforms including BBC Radio 1 and Spotify GSA, where she has been named one of the Artists To Watch for 2026, panicbaby enters the year with clear momentum. Her music has also inspired a huge wave of online creativity, with videos using her songs surpassing 2.4 billion views across social media.
This surge in attention arrives alongside major live milestones. Following a key support slot with British singer songwriter Artemas at the Roundhouse on February 3, panicbaby will embark on her first ever headline European tour, bringing her cinematic world of late night confessionals and emotional intensity to audiences across the continent.
Tour dates include Berlin at Kantine am Berghain on February 18, London at Camden Assembly on February 20, Paris at Supersonic Records on February 21, Amsterdam at Paradiso Upstairs on February 24, and Warsaw at Hydrozagadka on February 26.
Reflecting on the upcoming shows, she adds, “Having only started this project six months ago, I had never before performed as panicbaby, so I can’t wait to go on tour and sing with and meet the people that have listened to the songs on the internet in real life. The tracks come from a very personal place and realising that there’s other people connecting with the emotion I wrote them with is the craziest thing in the world.”

Since her debut, panicbaby has steadily built a distinct universe through releases such as “Claw Marks”, “other boys are boring”, and “avoidant little b <3”. Each track adds another layer to her exploration of modern relationships, yearning, tenderness, and emotional instability, framed through hazy production and diaristic songwriting.
As her debut EP and headline tour approach, panicbaby stands on the edge of a defining moment. With “soft prn”, she sharpens her identity as a multi hyphenate creative and storyteller, signalling the arrival of a significant new voice poised to reshape alt pop’s next chapter.
soft prn is available now via all major platforms.
