Following the impact of her standout singles There I Go and Good Graces, London-based alternative R&B and soul artist Lucy Park unveils her sophomore EP Good Graces—a charismatic, emotionally sharp body of work that firmly establishes her as one of the most captivating new voices in the UK scene.

Opening with Only Ever, Lucy sets the pace with an up-tempo, polished offering that balances subtle defiance and introspection across soulful piano and crisp percussion. The record flows into the bossa nova-tinged There I Go, a tender nod to bittersweet endings and personal growth, led by her signature London-dry delivery. Title track Good Graces offers a dreamy, hypnotic blend of melodic loops and reflective lyrics, while Let Him Go pares things back with an intimate acoustic arrangement, her featherlight vocals weaving powerfully through delicate guitar lines.

Oolong dives deeper into earthy, jazz-inflected trip-hop textures, and the final track PLUMERIA lifts the energy with a funk-laced bassline and woozy vocals, closing the project on a haze of summer-tinged joy and self-celebration.

Sharing the inspiration behind the EP, Lucy says:

“This project is about the past year of my life – moving from LA to London, going through a breakup, and turning twenty-five (oop now 26). It reflects the highs and lows of carving out a new chapter: rebuilding connections, finding my independence, and working out who I am now.”

She continues: “Wherever you’re at—whether navigating your mid-twenties or already feeling sorted—I hope there’s something in here that resonates. I made this for anyone finding their feet in real time.”

After the viral success of Rain, which has clocked over 20 million streams, and the heartfelt debut Before I Speak, Lucy’s profile has steadily soared. With praise from COLORSXSTUDIOS, WONDERLAND, and ONES TO WATCH, and collaborations on this project from Dylan Neustadter (SZA), Ken Samson (Nines), and Dom Valentino (Loyle Carner), she is clearly in formidable creative company.

With Good Graces, Lucy Park blends intricate songwriting, nuanced storytelling and remarkable vocal control to deliver a project that is equal parts graceful, grounded, and deeply resonant. An essential listen for 2025—and proof that Lucy is only just getting started.
