LLUCID is putting his name on the map with his self-produced, raw and energetic debut single ‘Fooled’, which will make you want to put your hood on and inhale the cold autumn air.

It’s the first glimpse of his up and coming EP ‘Getting in Touch’ in which he processes his experiences with anxiety & panic attacks, painting vivid pictures of the feeling of being stuck in a loop, being able to reflect on one’s own issues, rationally understanding what’s happening but not being able to change it for the better. Supported by an infallible swampy beat which blends organic drum textures with dark Moog bass lines and vicious melodies, LLUCID is providing food for thought.
Alongside the track, LLUCID shares a video filmed in a single room in one shot then reversed, giving the viewer an insight into the artist’s inner demons whilst elaborating on the track’s loop-like nature through thought-provoking visuals.
LLUCID is the type of inconspicuous skinny kid who puts all of his introverted energy into his passion for music while ducking social obligations, only to return with genre-bending tracks that keep people asking if its really him rapping & singing when he effortlessly combines nimble rap flows & catchy hooks.
Starting out on the drums at the age of 7, he quickly developed a passion for music which led to learning new instruments and producing his own music. Inspired by artists like J. Cole, Kendrick, Mac Miller and .Paak, he carved out his own style, combining organic textures with tactile hip hop beats & thought-provoking lyrics.
Always keeping it nonchalant, LLUCID elaborates:
“The process of coming of age and developing my musical fingerprint has been going hand in hand ever since and music has always helped me stepping out of my comfort zone, coping with bad emotions and such so this is what my music is about.“
The Berlin based artist has produced music in various genres for artists like Samy Deluxe, Wallis Bird, Hundreds and MADANII. LLUCID first gained recognition by releasing 2 EPs together with MADANII, a German-Iranian singer, combining alternative pop music with elements of RnB & Hip-Hop. The duo has been featured in magazines like Complex, Musikexpress and released an educational series with DocMartens in 2020.
