Luvrite Brings Afro R&B Energy to New Single ‘Electric Feel’ Ft. Tukki

With velvet smooth vocals, moody production and lyrics that read like late night confessions, London based artist Luvrite is carving out a distinctive space within alternative R&B. Blending Neo Soul, Dark Pop and Afro influenced rhythms, his music reflects both his Dutch Taiwanese roots and the eclectic experiences of a generation navigating identity, relationships and the pressures of modern life.

His latest release, ‘Electric Feel’, sees Luvrite collaborate with Tukki, an Indonesian Senegalese singer raised in the UK. The track moves into a warmer and more rhythmic space, pairing Afro R&B influences with Luvrite’s smooth vocals, thoughtful songwriting and strong musicality.

Luvrite has worked with major artists, attended film school and spent time working as an actor on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. That crossover between music and visual storytelling continues to shape his artistic identity, from self directed concepts to larger campaigns built around his releases.

His route into music has been anything but straightforward. At 18, he left Rotterdam for London, taking a significant step into a new environment and creative culture. Shortly after leaving music university, medical issues caused him to lose his voice for three years, forcing him to confront an unexpected interruption to the path he had begun to build.

Now 24, Luvrite has returned with a clearer sense of purpose. That experience has informed the patience, vulnerability and determination running through his music, while his multicultural upbringing continues to influence the way he approaches sound and storytelling.

Rather than fitting neatly into one scene, Luvrite is building a world around himself one record, visual and unconventional idea at a time. ‘Electric Feel’ represents another step forward, bringing together the warmth of Afro R&B, the intimacy of alternative soul and the expansive ambition of an artist who refuses to be confined by genre.
