The song details that “My mom left me when I was 13, the first woman that was supposed to love me abandoned me, feeling like ever since then, my heart’s been on safety.” The Soul-fusion, R&B singer brings his vulnerability to the track, dedicating it to his niece and nephews who he doesn’t want to ever experience the pain that he has.
