Introducing rising artist House Of Miagi and his latest infectious release ‘Too Late’

Packed with infectious melody lines wrapped in commercial production, House of Miagi is built on a bed of afrobeat, dancehall, RnB and UK Hip-Hop, pinned together by impressive lyricism.

House Of Miagi

House Of Miagi (also called HXM) hasn’t been constructed overnight. Citing his passion coming from his background, lived experience and future aspirations, it’s certain that these factors have helped mold his own sound- one specific example could be his family’s musical influences.

Coming from a big family with 4 other siblings, the walls within have been hit with sounds from genres such as RnB, indie and pop music such as Nsync, Craig David, George Micheal and Arctic Monkeys, all combined with his mother’s love for African and Folk music.

Speaking to us about the release HXM says: “This record has probably been one of the easiest to write as it all just clicked and sounded complete before I wrote any words on the page. My process when songwriting is never the same, but with this particular song I felt like the melodies and chords were composing themselves. The hardest part was trying to write the most gripping first line and when I felt I had it, I knew this was how I wanted to tell this story.

The inspiration behind this song is one I am sure most people have experienced, it’s a story about love, patience and the expectation that your words are enough without actions. When I finished this song I sent it to my producer ‘Oscar Moos’ (who is an absolute genie of an engineer), we worked on it and brought in the live track of everyone to really bring the song to life in ways I couldn’t alone.”

With a loyal fan base already under his belt, we cannot wait to see this expand, grow and diversify with each release the talented singer-songwriter releases.

‘Too Late’ is available now via all major platforms.
