A journey of faith, identity, uncertainty, hope, and letting go: ‘How Is Your Soul?’ is the highly anticipated debut EP from HILLARI

HILLARI, a Norwegian-Filipino artist, has already gained recognition from Timberland, warmed up for Pip Millett, and secured bookings at prestigious festivals such as Øyafestivalen and by:Larm.

At 18 years old, HILLARI has been involved in music since childhood but fully committed to her musical career in late 2021. Her talent quickly caught the industry’s attention, leading to 16 concerts in Norway and Canada in 2022 and offers from major record labels.

“This EP is very personal, and I hope that listeners will feel like they get to know me and my values a little better through it. It feels almost unreal to have had the opportunity to work with so many talented individuals who support me and want me to succeed. How is your soul? contains the first five songs I have ever recorded in a professional studio, and I am excited to share them with the rest of the world,” – HILLARI

Born in Oslo and spending part of her childhood in the Philippines, HILLARI found solace in music when she returned to Norway at the age of 8. Music became her means of communication, self-expression, and processing emotions.

At the age of 14, HILLARI participated in the Norwegian version of Idol. Fast forward four years, and she collaborated with one of the judges from the same season, Tshawe Baqwa, on the song ‘Innicity Blues’ for the NRK series FLUS. She has also created music for the TV2 series set premier on Netflix I 2023, “Gangs Of Oslo”. Internationally, she has worked with renowned producers and songwriters such as Sonic Major, Yakob, Ari Pensmith, and Camper. Timberland, Keyshia Cole, and Savannah Ré have praised her talent.

‘How Is Your Soul?’ is HILLARI’s deeply personal debut EP featuring five tracks: ‘Gracious Sunshine,’ ‘Hopeful,’ ‘Loyal,’ ‘Desperate Soul,’ and ‘Fall into Place.’ The EP takes listeners on a journey of faith, identity, uncertainty, hope, and letting go.

‘How Is Your Soul’ is available now via all major platforms.
