Born to artistic parents in West Yorkshire, Albertina’s passion for expression blossomed in the vibrant setting of London. Developing her talents in dance, acting, and music, she quickly made her mark as a DJ, securing residencies at BALAMII and performing at some of the hottest underground clubs across the city.
Now focusing on honing her skills as a multidisciplinary artist in production, songwriting, and performing, Albertina recently showcased her artistry in her stunning EP, “Waiting 4 Life.” Co-produced alongside fellow newcomer Jacob Samuel, the record beautifully delves into themes of loneliness and escapism. The EP’s accompanying visualizer, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Delphino (known for works with Potter Payper and Nia Archives) and featuring Molly Daniels (from Nilufer Yanya’s team) and Alexandre De Oliveira, weaves together the ethereal beauty of nature and the unpredictable nature of technology in a visually striking production.
