Spanning the transatlantic and beyond, introducing CellarHouse: much more than a ‘house’ band

Finding out just who CellarHouse are can be quite a daunting experience. For a start they span two continents and three countries: USA, UK and Spain and whilst not exactly publicity shy – they prefer to let their music do the talking.

So, what do we know? CellarHouse are the house band for the True Blockhouse label. These musicians aren’t your average teen wannabees – they’ve been around the block. They’re highly respected young session musicians and singers joined by a more experienced producer/writer who play on most of the true blockhouse releases.

They launched onto unsuspecting British clubbers in November of last year when The Urban Mods took their Dark Light track and gave it the Drum and Bass treatment.

Their last club tune, Should Have Been, a Latin-house inspired groove; brought them to the attention of DJ’s worldwide, inspired them to break away from their session gigs and encouraged them to see where this musical collaboration might lead.

Their new single, ‘You Give Me Everything’, is an electro-house take on everything that was great about the 80’s electronic scene. A pulsating beat, rasping synths and a vocal hook that builds and builds until an anthemic breakdown leaves you begging for more!

Whilst deep house and dark synths are their thing, expect the unexpected from this group, as their forth-coming album Hard Times mixes dark house, chill, funk and synthwave to produce a fusion of genres that defies categorisation.

Exciting times around the corner for this unique transatlantic band. Good luck tracking them down though.

‘You Give Me Everything’ is available now via all major platforms.
