Rising London-based rap artist J-Racks smashes back into the soundsphere with his latest release ‘If I Was You’

London-based, rising drill rapper J-Racks smashes back into the soundsphere with his huge new single ‘If I Was You’ – an exhilarating drill cut available now via all major platforms.

Renowned for his punchy bars and trademark woozy bass kicks to match, UK artist J-Racks continues to demonstrate his dynamic rap capabilities with this brand new single.

Serving up a dizzying array of percussive elements, the young talent navigates the listener through an impactful soundtrack, layered with his effortless lyricism exclaiming, “If it ain’t too lit, I’ll pull up quick, I bet I’ll make it lit” – acting as a timely reminder of the young rapper’s stature in today’s rap game.

Speaking on the single, J-Racks states; “

It’s a song where I express how I’ll do things better than you if I was in your shoes, regardless of how good or bad your circumstances are. But obviously it’s done in a bit of a cheeky way, whilst maintaining a serious tone.”

Having garnered a huge amount of attention with his explosive ‘Free Flow’ track and visuals in 2020 – amassing just over 71K YouTube views and over 812K Spotify streams – J-Racks has gained some serious exposure from the likes of GRM Daily, The Shade Borough and Madeyouthink101, as well as further tastemaker support from MIXTAPE MADNESS, WORDPLAY MAGAZINE, 9BILLS and EQUATE MAGAZINE to name a few.

On top of regular playlist features in Baitlist, Dummy Rap & Grime and Black Butter Airways, the Londoner receives consistent support from UK heavyweights M1llionz and Ivorian Doll, whilst clocking regular radio plays via Snoochie Shy’s BBC Radio 1Xtra show.

J-Racks’ brilliance offers a creative breath of fresh air for the drill scene, bringing a unique and original take, all of which firmly place J-Racks as an artist to look out for as we head into the new year.

‘If I Was You’ is available now via all major platforms.
