Circles’ is the latest release from Norwegian-Serbian, singer-songwriter Maggie

Released on the heels of her phenomenal debut single ‘Paralyzed’, Norwegian-Serbian, singer-songwriter, Maggie releases her new single ‘Circles’.

‘Circles’ is a powerful soundscape, layered with delicate chords, tender beats and Maggie’s unique vocals, it picks on heartstrings and burns emotional embers throughout. Prevailing Maggie’s narrative of returning hope and a centrifugal lover keeping her around, it begins to make it hard to let go.

‘Circles’ rings round to capture Maggie’s own euphonous blend of alternative pop music. In her own words, Maggie explains;

“Circles is about that good feeling you get when you’re captivated by someone. You‘re trying to hold on to that feeling because you really don’t want it to go away. Circles was written and produced in my bedroom during lockdown last year and I wanted to show a softer side of myself. I wanted to create a warm atmosphere and bring out a mood that draws the listener closer.”

The single lands on ever-growing foundations already in place, with her debut music video premiering with Wonderland Magazine, who described Maggie’s sound as “sensational, electronic-imbued alt pop”, meanwhile, Notion and House of Solo praised her emotion-capturing capabilities.

Maggie takes a central position in her music from being a writer, producer and vocalist. With the typical one-sided proportion of more men to women being producers, Maggie is a reminder of what determination and craftsmanship creates, proving throughout her music. With Maggie’s previous single, ‘Paralyzed’, being a debut release. Maggie showed no signs of being a novice and landed straight into the likes of several tastemakers including: Wonderland, House of Solo, Haste Magazine, Revamp and many more. Maggie is currently working on her forthcoming EP, set to be out next January.

‘Circles’ is available now via all major platforms.
