Another fine demonstration of his innate musicality: ‘Tonight’ is the latest release from House of EL

Multi-faceted writer, producer and talented jazz musician, House of EL aka Kieron McIntosh enters the year with another fine demonstration of his innate musicality, ‘Tonight’, out now!

Speaking on the track, House of EL explains;

“‘Tonight’ touches on the current age we live in and have lived through, at a high level I think there is so much noise going on that it’s hard to hear yourself think with all that’s going on in the world and at a granular level I think it’s touching on the fact that we all essentially want to feel appreciated and seen… or I guess loved. The video further tells the story… I just want to tell stories and make you think but this one – I want you to dance too.”

The single lands as the first release to follow House of EL’s 2022 mixtape ‘BOOK OF EL’, an 11-track fusion of jazz, soul, hip-hop and pop, which saw McIntosh enlist the support of Laura Mvula, Jay Prince, Reuben James, Tom Ford, and Karma Kid to add their individual creativity to the sonic tapestry of House of EL.

Unfaltering in his ability to transcend ‘trends’ and ‘waves’ of music, House of EL has stayed consistent in his own lane with focus on showcasing the music he truly loves. Emerging from and firmly embedded within the jazz scene, House of EL is an artist with true musicianship at the forefront of his artistry.

Embodying this in each of his releases McIntosh is the sole architect of his sonic output as a highly accomplished multi-instrumentalist (piano, trumpet, guitar, bass, drums), writer, producer and performer. Such authenticity has gained the recognition of a whole plethora of tastemakers, including, BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, 6 Music’s Huey Morgan, Colors, Complex, Clash Magazine, Wonderland, Notion, Trench, Guap and more.
