NuNu Prince is a R&B singer songwriter hailing from Minneapolis Minnesota. He grew up watching his mother and grandma sing in church, and soon became inspired to write his own Christian songs. His music always sways towards positivity in attempts to uplift his fans, NuNu Prince says he would like to be the artist that fans go to when they need help in getting through something. Debuting in 2020, he has released various singles that have gained traction on streaming platforms, his most popular track ‘I’m For You’ has reached over 152K streams.
What differs you and your sound from other artists in the music industry?
I feel like what separates me from other artists is my singing and the messages behind each and every song. Nothing but beautiful uplifting pieces for ya kids, aunties, grandmas and more. It’s all love.
Your latest release ‘Love Holy’ is out now. Can you please describe the creative process and inspiration behind the single?
The inspiration behind the ‘Love Holy’ was me coming from my trials and tribulations. Having no one judge me for my actions or behaviour but realizing we’re all very similar in a way, “When you say my name insane, same thing we is”. The song didn’t take long to put together at all. It was how I was feeling in the moment, so everything just flowed so easily.
Throughout your musical career, have you experienced any ‘wow’ moments?
I say all the music videos were my wow moments cause I catch the kids dancing to my music and then see even bigger crowds coming to watch. Was very amazing.
What personal advice would you give to someone wanting to pursue this career?
To remember to always stay true to what you believe in. Don’t chase the money, chase the passion.
What does the foreseeable future hold for you as an artist?
I see myself being one of the biggest artists in the next two years, touring. I won’t settle for less.
