Nathan Kyle Frederick, known by his stage name ‘Gifted’, is a Toronto based musician, singer and songwriter.
He displayed an affinity for music at an early age. By age 5, he began playing the piano by ear and by 14 had learned to play the baritone and trumpet. After a decade of studying music theory, he decided to pursue song writing in 2011.
Gifted is known for his soulful, emotive voice and adept lyricism. He is able to sing both staccato and legato rhythms harmoniously. His vocal and musical versatility allows for transitions through multiple genres such as R&B, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Reggae, Hip Hop, and Pop.
